Dominos

I spent Christmas in Nicaragua with all of my mom's sisters and their families. It was great to just relax at the beach for a couple of days. Christmas Eve we all went on a zip-line canopy tour near a volcano. Even the littlest cousins were allowed to go!

We had lots and lots of laughter and fun, but as our vacation was closing and we started to head home,  we were delayed in the Nicaragua International Airport for about 3 extras hours than planned. When we finally arrived in Houston, everyone had missed their connections, except for Princess (who was lucky enough to get on another flight and was off to see Superhero!) and we had to stay the night there. We hadn't eaten much that day so when the pizza arrived at the hotel, we all dug in and ate about 4 pieces each! The next morning Madre, Father dear, Tall Teen, and I got up early to hit the ticket counters as soon as they opened to try and figure out our situation. After waiting an hour in a check-in line and another hour in the security line, I finally made it to the departure gate for a flight that was scheduled to leave in 3 hours. About an hour and a half before the flight is ready to leave, we run into the rest of our family with all the little kids. They are on standby for the same flight Dad and I already have tickets for. 8 of the 13 standby-ers were lucky enough to get on the flight to Salt Lake. It was a crazy and long day, but we all finally made it home safely!
